Flaxseed is a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Our chickens love flaxseed and their egg yolks are rich in Omega-3's which are known to protect from heart disease.
Omega-3s such as DHA are building blocks for brain tissue and may protect against Alzheimer's. Eating eggs increases our DHA and Omega-3 fatty acids, without increasing cholesterol levels (read the full article here).
